A spotlight on the latest product launches and nail trends seen this season.
Live the Luxe Life
Find out how CND’s new Shellac Luxe can save you time while increasing your revenue.
Since its inception, CND Shellac has been a pioneer in the soak-off gel category. Now, the brand is shaking things up once again with the launch of Shellac Luxe. The new two-step system eliminates the need for a basecoat (thanks to its self-adhering Color Coat for faster application) and is 10-times faster to remove (in just 60 seconds) with no nail damage, courtesy of the brand’s unique micropore coating for faster acetone penetration.
But what does that mean for you? Compared to other soak- off gel systems, with Shellac Luxe you can now save 15 minutes per service. Add all of those minutes up in a day and think of all the extra clients you can be servicing—after all, time is money! In addition to providing more than 14 days of wear, with the high- gloss finish CND Shellac is known for, Shellac Luxe offers a total of 65 shades—50 that match Shellac’s best-selling shades, and 15 new shades including red hot Wildfire (pictured).
Fit for a Royal
While we were in awe of everything to do with Meghan Markle—from the dress to the jewels!—as she wed Prince Harry this past spring, we couldn’t help but spot the nail polish worn by the Duchess of Sussex. Markle paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II with her choice of shade—Ballet Slippers by Essie. The sheer pink hue has been a favourite of the Queen’s since 1989! Part of the Royal Family’s dress code reportedly discourages the Royal Women from wearing bold nail polish. As least that rule doesn’t seem to apply to hat wear!
Made with Honour
Jessica Mulroney made headlines when she served as the uno cial matron of honour at the royal wedding. CND Canada has recently announced a six-month partnership with Mulroney that will showcase seasonal nail trends. Ahead of the royal wedding, CND education ambassador John Nguyen layered the brand’s Studio White over the soft pink shade, Uncovered, to create a romantic, wedding-inspired nail look.
