Introducing Pantone’s 2022 Color of the Year!

As we all look ahead to a better and brighter year ahead, the long-awaited Pantone 2022 Color of the Year is finally here!

For the first time in Pantone Color of the Year history, a brand-new colour has been created! Introducing… Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri!

This periwinkle purple shade “brings a novel perspective and vision of the trusted and beloved blue colour” all the while displaying “a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression” with its violet-red undertone.

According to Pantone, the new shade was created as “a symbol of the global zeitgeist of the moment and the transition we are going through. As we emerge from an intense period of isolation, our notions and standards are changing, and our physical and digital lives have merged in new ways.”
