Foil Me has announced Tressa Yanchuk, of Victoria-based salon Kharma Design Studio, as their Canadian brand ambassador.
The Australian-based brand’s foil rolls and pre-cut foil are designed for time-saving and efficient colour application, which align with Yanchuk’s specialty in blonde, balayage and ombré.
Foil Me’s signature “tissue” and “shoe box” designs, part of their Grip Me and Flatter Me collections, cater to traditional methods of hair colouring, as well as contouring, ombre and balayage.
“I originally started working with Foil Me a couple years ago, after seeing a stylist on Instagram with super-wide foils. I’d been on the hunt to find something similar with no luck,” explains Yanchuk.
“As a blonde specialist, having good foils is essential to my business. The Foil Me ‘extra wides’ have been a game changer for my timing, and everyone knows in this industry…time is money! Being able to do the back section of a balayage in half the amount of time has seriously changed my life.”
Foil Me Co-founder and creative director, Emily Ciardiello, says, “As a small, yet rapidly expanding business that is impacting the hairdressing industry both here and abroad, it’s an honour to have someone of Tressa’s calibre, skill and talent representing Foil Me in Canada.”
