Celebrities glimmered down the red carpet this past Sunday for the 2023 Academy Awards. From effortless rockstar texture to silky smooth blowouts, celebrity hairstylists did not disappoint when it came to red carpet glamour. We have step-by-step details from celebrity hairstylists, Adir Abergel and Jenny Cho, on how to recreate the red carpet looks of Nicole Kidman and Ana De Armas for your clients.

Step One: Start by applying a volumizing primer all over the roots and rough dry the freshly washed hair.
Step Two: Mix a frizz cream and healing oil and apply it all over the hair while continuing to blow dry using a 2.5 inch volume round brush.
Step Three: Once the hair is completely dry, work it on the hairline pieces to frame the face and cheekbones with an effortless wave using a 1.5 inch curling iron.
Step Four: To really enhance the wave, twist random sections of hair and create a pin curl in the palm of your hand and heat it using a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment. Let it cool down inside your hand and release it for the ultimate organic twist.
Step Five: To finish the look, mist hairspray all over and diffuse using a cool shot feature on the blow dryer to lock in the soft wave.

Step One: Gently brushed out the towel-dried hair with a detangling brush so the products could evenly apply.
Step Two: Then apply a blow out balm to smooth the hair, and mist a thermal protecting spray to protect her strands from the heat.
Step Three: Blow dry the hair with a 2.5inch round brush to add a slight body and volume to the crown area and to smooth the tips.
Step Four: For a Cher inspired look, hair extensions were added for length and then cut to the desired length.
Step Five: Starting at the nape, use a 1 ½ inch clip barrel iron to create soft, lived-in waves. I pinned each curl to cool in order to set for the night ahead.
Step Six: Once the hair is set, loosen up the curls and mist the hair with a shine mist and finalise the curls with a finishing spray.
